Basic Electrical Training

This course provides a practical introduction to fundamental electrical concepts used in industrial, commercial, and maintenance environments. Participants will learn the principles of Ohm’s Law and the Power Formula, develop proficiency in the safe use of electrical test meters, and gain hands-on experience with basic wiring practices. The course also covers the operation and troubleshooting of series and parallel circuits, helping learners build a strong foundation for electrical maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.

Intermediate Electrical Training

This course builds upon foundational electrical knowledge and focuses on the wiring and troubleshooting of industrial control circuits. Through hands-on lab projects, students will gain practical experience constructing, testing, and analyzing control systems commonly used in manufacturing and industrial environments. Topics include sensors, relays, timers, contactors, motor starters, and control circuit operation. Upon completion, participants will be able to interpret wiring diagrams, assemble control circuits, and troubleshoot common electrical control applications.

Advanced Electrical Training

This hands-on course builds on foundational electrical knowledge and focuses on the installation, operation, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical control systems. Participants will complete practical wiring projects while learning to interpret electrical symbols, read ladder logic diagrams, and construct motor control circuits commonly used in manufacturing and industrial environments.

Basic Hydraulics

This course provides a foundational understanding of hydraulic systems and their operation in industrial and manufacturing environments. Participants will learn the principles of hydraulic power, pressure, flow, and fluid control while gaining practical knowledge of the components and circuits commonly used in hydraulic applications.

Basic Pneumatics

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to pneumatic systems and their application in industrial and manufacturing environments. Participants will learn the fundamental principles of compressed air systems, including pneumatic pressure, flow, and circuit operation. Through practical examples and hands-on exercises, students will develop the skills needed to understand, operate, and troubleshoot basic pneumatic components and systems.

Introduction to PLC

ThiThis hands-on course introduces participants to the fundamentals of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation and control systems. Working with Allen-Bradley Micro PLCs, students will learn how PLCs are used to monitor, control, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and automated processes.

Participants will gain practical experience reading and interpreting PLC ladder logic programs, wiring PLC input and output devices, editing existing programs, and developing basic PLC applications. The course also emphasizes troubleshooting techniques that enable technicians to identify and resolve common control system issues.

Basic PLC Programming

This course provides hands-on instruction in the fundamentals of programming Allen-Bradley Micro820â„¢ and CompactLogixâ„¢ Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Designed for individuals with introductory PLC experience, the course builds upon foundational concepts and focuses on developing the skills needed to create, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain basic PLC programs used in modern industrial environments.

National Electric Code (NEC)

Students will gain fundamental knowledge of how to use the NEC as a resource. Navigating the NEC to find applicable requirements for electrical installation. Examining the requirements of the NEC as they relate to the safety of an electrical installation. Determining general requirements for sizing and installing service, feeder, branch circuit conductors, and overcurrent protection. Determining the minimum raceway size for a given set of conductors.
