Vivaldi’s Four Seasons
April 4 • 7:30 p.m.
91ÊÓƵ Theatre
Led by Baroque violin soloist, Daniel Lee, Early Music Missouri brings Antonio Vivaldi’s Four Seasons to the 91ÊÓƵ stage. Probably the best-known program music in the classical repertoire, these concerti depict roiling streams, wintery blasts, dancing peasants, baying dogs and more. Performed by a chamber ensemble playing period instruments, this concert offers listeners an exciting introduction to the sounds of Vivaldi’s musical world. The 91ÊÓƵ Choir will join singers and instrumentalists from Early Music Missouri for a performance of excerpts from Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria.
